Policies

We are a vacation rental property.  We will rent
by the night, the weekend, or the week.

The WEEKLY rates are based on a family of four or two couples.
(An extra room will be charged at a rate of $50 per day (maximum of
two guests per room).

Rental for weekends or single nights are based on double
occupancy.  Extra room will be charged at a rate of $50 per day
(maximum of two guests per room).
All rates (except weekly rates) are subject to 8% New York sales tax,
plus 4% Schuyler County room tax.

We require a deposit of one night rental to secure your booking.  If
reserving in advance, it must be received at least 14 days before your
arrival.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING in any part of the house,
including the front porch, the deck off the master bedroom, and the
pool area.  There is a fine ($200 which will be charged to your
account) for anyone who chooses to smoke in any of these areas.  We
sincerely thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Part of the charm and graciousness of Rosemary’s Legacy remains the
“little touches.”  While many of these touches are timeless
collectibles, we have opted to leave them in their original positions,
just as Rosemary placed them, rather than pack them away.  We feel
that they add to the charm of our establishment.  Each item has been
carefully cataloged and photographed.  As we prepare the house for
our next guests, we carefully inventory and prepare a check list of the
property, which is then dated and filed.

We accept no pets.

We regret that we can not accommodate children under the age of 12
years.

Check in time is 3pm to 6pm (or by prior arrangement), Check out
time is by 11am.

Our cancellation policy provides for a full refund, less $25, for
reservations cancelled fourteen (14) days before your expected arrival
(no refunds for Event or graduation weekends).

You may burn taper candles in the dining areas of the first floor of the
house.  We also request that if you bring candles to use during your
stay that they remain in a container (glass, tin, etc…).

Our swimming pool is open to all of our guests.  It does not have a life
guard.  By signing the registration form at check-in, you release the
owners of Rosemary’s Legacy from any liability incurred from injury
while using the pool.  The pool closes at 9 pm.  (The owners of
Rosemary’s Legacy and their family reserve the right to use the pool at
any time.)

Maximum occupancy of the house is 6 guests.  If you plan to invite
unregistered guests to the house, please review these plans with the
owners in advance

All balances must be remitted to the owners upon check-out, in the
form of Check, Cash, or Major Credit Card (Visa, MC, or Discover).  
If anything is broken, stolen, or damaged, we will charge your credit
card for the fair market value of the item(s).
